Erin and I decided to use a few prints from Nursery Versary as our base fabrics as well as the linen tree print and the yellow butterfly print. The rest of the fabrics are from my stash. There is definitely a little bit of everything in this quilt.
I used some great Anna Maria Horner flannel on the back that I got from Pam at Mad About Patchwork. She still has some left and it's on sale!
The quilting is hard to see from the pictures of the front, but there are a lot of different free motion pattern going on. The spiderwebs on the left side are quilted with curved web-like shapes and, if you look close enough at the middle one, you can even see one little spider. Makes me think of sweet little Charlotte.
The itsy, bitsy spider. This one is here to stay!
Appliqued flowers with free-motion stems and leaves.
I had so much fun making this one. It's always hard to say goodbye to a quilt, but it was a lot easier this time knowing it's going to a good friend's home here in town!
